During 2021, my husband and I split up due to ongoing dificulties. We engaged Jacqui after a referral from a friend. We decided to participate in a series of couples sessions. At first my husband was sceptical but Jacqui's practical methods of unpacking conflict and creating a safe space for myself and my husband to communicate more effectively allowed us to understand the situation and take action to bring about a better understanding between ourselves.

I have suffered depression for as long as I can remembe. This led me to self-harming and many aspects of my life were out of control and unmanageable. I am in ongoing therapy with Ms Otto and work a 12 step program with her on a one-one basis in addition to participating in a fellowship locally. My quality of life has improved dramatically. I remain on medication and this is better managed than ever before. I understand the importance of balance, hope and action in leading an improved life.

I first met Jacqui whilst she was providing addiction therapy for a well known rehabilitation centre in Johannesburg. I found her to be incredibly empathetic and non-judgement. Through a series of session I came to understand the nature of my addiction and the process involved to achieve long-term recovery. I will forever be grateful for encountering Jacqui.
